Should I take Spanish or Chinese for high school language?

I have been taking Spanish from 1st to 8th grade. I have the option to either go into honors Spanish or start Mandarin Chinese from the beginning. I also hear that Chinese is not that hard in my high school and both languages are taught for all four years. Which would colleges like more and which would help me later when I get a job after college?
