My wife and I just finished 2 weeks of intermediate Spanish classes at GLC. Note that the school is in Tlaquepaque, a suburb of Guadalajara. It’s much more relaxing than being in the big city, but there is still a lot to do.

The instructors were all great and our homestay was very nice (ask for Alicia’s house). Avoid the Bustamante house.

The school did not pick us up at the airport as promised. They also didn’t tell Alicia we were coming. Make sure you have the address of the homestay and the school when you arrive at GDL airport. We took a cab and Alicia just happened to be home. This in spite of my emailing the school owner, Wouter, 3 times with our arrival information.
